Visitors to School

7th November 2022
November 2022 New Headteacher Blog
It was a delight to invite prospective new parents and children into school last week as we conducted our first Open Day of the year. I am always so proud when showing visitors around the classrooms, corridors and open spaces in school, as I know there will be a calm working atmosphere wherever we visit. The children, as usual, were working hard and enjoying their learning. They were polite and articulate with our visitors as they explained what they were learning. The nursery aged children thoroughly enjoyed joining our reception children as they moved between the provision areas both inside and outside their classroom. We have two more Open Days this month on the 10th and 30th November so if you do know of any families who have children due to start reception in September 2023 then please guide them to our website where they can how to book onto a tour. I am sorry I was ill at the end of last half term and missed the Harvest Festival which I know was lovely and a great opportunity for children and adults to celebrate together. Thank you so much to Bridge Street Church for welcoming us and looking after us so well yet again. I can't believe we have already reached that time when we start to prepare for Christmas and all the exciting events which will be going on in and outside school. I look forward to seeing many of you in school over the festive season.

29/1/22 An Inspector Calls and an Autumn Disco
What a busy month November has been
The children worked brilliantly well during our Ofsted visit at the beginning of the month and the inspectors commented on how polite and articulate they were. One of the highlightswas of the month was the Autumn Disco which was organised by the Parent's Association.
The children had a fantastic time together and Mr Hampson and Mr Fisk got into the spirit helped by the children's amazing 'make overs' for them!
