Parents Association

The Whartons Primary Parents Association

Registered Charity No.1043618

We have a very active Parents Association at The Whartons and all money raised goes back into school to buy equipment, new technology, subsidise trips and many other things.

Each school year we hold over 20 events. These include Discos, a Monster Treasure Hunt, Christmas & Summer Fayres, Secret Santa Stall, Bun Sales, Film Afternoon, Themed Raffles and big sponsored events.

We would gladly welcome any new members/helpers whether you want to attend our meetings, join the committee or just help out at events. We are also always looking for new event ideas and any contacts you may have with any local businesses. We advertise any events and any other information on our Parents Association Noticeboard, which is just by the Reception outside area and through regular newsletters.

You can get in touch with us through:
  • our yellow Parents Association box in the school entrance,
  • The Whartons Parents Facebook page,
  • e-mail  whartonsparentsassociation@gmail.com
  • in the playground or just come along to one of our termly meetings.

Thank You!

We would like to say Thank You to everyone who gets involved or helps out with any of our events and activities.

Everything no matter no big or small is always welcome.

If YOU would like to join the team, or feel you have awesome ideas that you just have to share, if you want to come along to a meeting, or you would like to help or get involved in any way then don't hesitate to get in touch. Meetings take place usually on the second Monday of every month and the next meeting is Monday 14th October at 7.30pm

Fund Raising

After all the excitement of getting the outdoor wooden gazebo in place, we are now heads down and focusing on making plans for what we will be raising funds for next.

We would like to take this opportunity to reassure parents and carers that all of the ideas and suggestions that were sent through to us last year have been, and continue to be, considered and discussed.
