After School Activities & Clubs & Community Activities
Unfortunately, due to the current Covid 19 situation we are not able to offer any After School Activities apart from the KS2 Aces Sport which is being run on a class at a time basis and we will be in touch when each session is available.
We offer lots of Extra Curricular Activities each term in the form of clubs and sporting activities and a full list of these can be found below.
Most of these are run by school, but some are run by outside organisations such as Inspiration Tree, Tae Kwondo and LM Stage School. Any payment for these clubs should be made directly to them and not school. Thank you.
We will keep you informed by text of any changes to the running of clubs at anytime and all children should be collected from the Travel Shelter at the back of school, which can be accessed across the back car park and back playground, when the club finishes. Please do not bring cars into the back car park for safety reasons.
Pop Choir is a fun and enjoyable Key Stage 2 club which helps to build confidence in group singing. We learn and perform a mixture of current pop songs and some from way back (it's surprising how many 'Golden Oldies' the children know and love).
Our biggest choir to date performed at the annual Otley Victorian Fayre early in December. This term the Pop Choir has been running as a Golden Time choice on a Friday. Having the choir group singing during school time has encouraged lots of children to join in meaning it now has an impressive 42 singers.
The atmosphere at The Victorian Fayre is always special and full of Christmas excitement. Performing on the stage to such a large crowd is a fabulous experience for the children and spectators alike.
Well done to all the children and staff who supported them.
