On Wednesday 23^rd June Year 2 went to Trpoical World. We got there by coach. When we got there we had a drink and a snack, then we walked through a gate and then a flower garden until we came to lots of flowers. We had to name them. There were honeysuckle, yellow iris, cow parsley and fox-gloves. We carried on walking and at last we got to the Tropical World.

The first animal was outside the Centre. They were lemurs, cute and cuddly.

When we got inside we went into a gloomy room where there were some tanks. In one was a tarantula and in another tank there were some small mice scuttling around. After that we went into the butterfly house. There was a massive butterfly. It was an Owl butterfly. Soon after that we walked into a rather small rainforest. It was extremely hot. In it there was a parrot, a tree with a face on it and some palm trees. Underneath the rain forest there was a baby crocodile, it’s mouth was wide open. Soon we went back through everything I just told you about. When we got back outside we had lunch. After that we had a play and I met a girl called Isabella. Finally we had to go back to school. What a lovely day!
