The St. Mary’s Netball Hi 5 Competition was held at St. Mary’s on Tuesday 16^th March.

Eight local schools took part and were divided into two groups.

The Whartons squad of 6 girls and 3 boys from Years 5 and 6 changed places after each half of every game to show their adaptability and knowledge of each position.

The hard-working squad missed reaching the final by one point!

Results were: a no-score draw against Tranmere Park followed by a 4-nil win against St. Joseph’s B (goals scored by Benjamin(2), Georgina and Kieran) and a 2-nil loss to eventual winners St. Joseph’s A team.
